Tips from you: Beating burn-out in your business
Like most entrepreuers (and probably many of you) I tend to be a creative person. Working in the bookkeeping/ accounting/ financial field doesn’t allow for the greatest outlet for those talents. I admit, I frequently get tired of my work or “burnt out”, especially in months with extra work.
I’ve been able to branch out into several other fields and now spend as much time building websites and working on marketing plans for small businesses as I spend with my bookkeeping clients. I’m curious if others feel the same frustrations and how you are able to deal with them.
Post your ideas and get a free link back to your website!
Check out these resources for your bookkeeping business
For those who read this blog through the rss feed I thought I’d mention the changes have happened here recently.
In addition to a new look I’ve also changed up the content on the site. Most of the ads are gone (except for a few that are for products I really like). I’ve also added two sections of helpful links to site.
Bookkeeping resources are just that, useful sites and products for starting or managing your bookkeeping business. Be sure to check out the newest link - Michelle Long’s book Successful QuickBooks Consulting: The Comprehensive Guide to Starting and Growing a QuickBooks Consulting Business —Ideal for Bookkeeping or Bookkeepers, Accounting or Accountants, or Consultants. Michelle is the owner of M Long Consulting and has been featured numerous times in the QuickBooks Pro Connection Newsletter. (If you don’t get it already, sign up here.)
In the “finding jobs” category you will find links to websites where you may be able to offer your freelance services.
I have also added a contact page where you can ask questions or get help via Google chat (if I’m online) or a contact form.
Check out these resources and let me know if there are any sites you like that I should add to the list.
